Liverpool striker Diogo Jota was not pictured in training on Tuesday which suggests he won’t feature against RB Leipzig.
The Portuguese international appeared to injure his ribs after Chelsea’s Tosin Adarabioyo landed on top of him during the 2-1 win at the weekend.
After the game, head coach Arne Slot said he would be “surprised” if Jota was available for the Leipzig match.
It means the forward is now in the race against time to be fit for the Reds’ next Premier League fixture.
