Alisson

Goalkeeper Alisson was forced to miss the PSV game as he had an illness; He is expected to be available for the West Ham game at the weekend however, which will be a huge boost to Slot.

The Brazil international has missed a lot of time this season, but Liverpool’s win ratio is significantly higher when he is playing, so it could be the difference against West Ham.

Expected return date – Sunday 30 November vs West Ham

Jeremie Frimpong

Frimpong suffered a hamstring injury in October, which has forced Slot to get creative with his team selection at the right-back position. He won’t be available against West Ham this weekend, but could be looking at a return in early December, which is earlier than initially feared.

Slot said last week: “Jeremie is out just as long. He’s not probably going to be available in the upcoming two or three weeks as well. It’s going to be interesting who all of you want to see as a right full-back.”

Expected return date – Saturday 6 December vs Leeds United

Conor Bradley

Bradley would have been the choice to replace Frimpong at right-back, but he is dealing with an injury that he suffered during the international break with Northern Ireland.

Slot has been playing Dominic Szobozslai as a right-back, but could decide to change things and put Joe Gomez there against West ham.

Expected return date – Saturday 13 December vs Brighton

Giovanni Leoni

Leoni suffered a disappointing knee injury after he joined the Reds in the summer, and he looks set to miss the entire season, which is a gutting reality for the young Italian centre-back.

Furthermore, it would be useful for Liverpool to have him at the moment, as Ibrahima Konate and Virgil Van Dijk are both really struggling for form.

Expected return date – August 2026
