Liverpool Injury News And Return Dates: Updates On Ibrahima Konate, Alisson And 2 Other Players

Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate is only taking part in individual training drills after linking up with France.

The centre-back picked up a muscular problem in the second half of the 2-1 defeat to Chelsea, with head coach Arne Slot confirming that the centre-back was taken off as a precaution:

“I don’t know if it is a big injury, but what I do know is he limped a little bit and when I asked him he said he felt his quad a little bit. Then, for me, all alarm bells go off because in another sprint you never know if that is going to go good.”

France play Azerbaijan on Friday and Iceland on Monday night in two World Cup qualifiers and it remains to be seen if Konate will feature in either match.

Expected Return Date – Sunday 19th October vs Manchester United (h)

Wataru Endo

The 32-year-old has not joined up with Japan’s squad for the games against Paraguay and Brazil due to an unspecified injury

Endo only came on for the closing stages of the match at Stamford Bridge but it appears he did pick up a knock of some kind, which has ruled him out of international fixtures.

Expected Return Date – Unknown
