Liverpool head coach Arne Slot says that he is hopeful of having Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley back available ahead of the match against Manchester United next Sunday.
Speaking earlier this week, Slot confirmed that neither defender was in contention to face West Ham this weekend but they are closing in on a return to full fitness:
“They will not be back for West Ham. Then there is a week in between. Letβs see how close they are then. It is difficult to tell you at this moment because they donβt train with the group yet. Hopefully, in the upcoming days they come closer to that situation. But then again, Ibou has been out for five or six weeks maybe, Conor just as long and they are in competition with players who are completely fit and doing really well. So I have to make the right judgment the moment they are back.”
Fans on X are delighted that both Konate and Bradley could be ready for selection again very soon:

The pair have both been sidelined since late November
Coincidentally, Bradley and Konate sustained their injuries in the same match against Real Madrid last month.
While Bradley was forced off with a hamstring issue in the closing stages of the 2-0 win, Konate picked up his knee problem right on the final whistle.
Latest Liverpool team news
With the likes of Alisson Becker, Diogo Jota and Federico Chiesa all back in contention, the only two injuries remaining are Konate and Bradley.
However, the Reds will also be without Dominik Szoboszlai for the game against West Ham. The Hungarian international is serving a one-match ban after picking up his fifth booking of the season versus Leicester on Boxing Day.
