Liverpool Lining Up Deal For 29 Year Old That Could Be Worth 82M

Liverpool are willing to offer a contract to Mo Salah which could be worth up to £82m over four and a half years, according to reports in the UK.

The 29-year-old has been in outstanding form this season and, with his current deal expiring in 2023, the Reds are keen to reward him with an extension.

It is believed that the 6-time European champions will table an offer to Salah that would make him the highest earner at the club by quite some distance.

The Egyptian international will be given £350,000 a week, excluding bonuses based on performances, with the contract extending to the end of the 2025/26 season.

Salah is thought to have demanded parity with some of the Premier League’s best players. Kevin De Bruyne is said to be earning around £385,000 a week and this would put the Liverpool star in the same bracket. Whether both he and his agent will be satisfied by the club’s proposal, though, we shall have to wait and see.
