Liverpool Make Scouting Trip To See THREE Lyon Stars In Action (None Of Them Are Fekir)

Liverpool had a scout in attendance for Lyon’s 3-0 win over Marseille on Sunday, according to Mercato365.

The French website reports that the Reds were there to mostly keep an eye on midfielder Houssem Aouar, who has impressed for Lyon this season.

Manchester City have also been keeping close tabs on the Frenchman but reports suggest that they favour a move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodri instead.

Aouar has been in great form for Lyon, having scored seven goals and provided 10 assists in 45 appearances this campaign. He generally plays in central midfield, but he can also be utilised out wide on the left if required.

Liverpool were also said to be keeping tabs on Tanguy Ndombele, who is a target for City and Manchester United, while Memphis Depay is believed to be on the watchlist as well.

In addition to the Reds, Mercato365 report that Arsenal and United representatives were also present to scout former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele.
