Liverpool Named Among Host Of PL Clubs Considering Swoop For 134 Goal Italian Marksman

Liverpool are the latest team to take a keen interest in Torino captain Andrea Belotti. Italian newspaper Tuttosport claim that the Reds have joined the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham in tracking the 27-year-old.

The striker, who has scored 134 goals in his professional career, could be available for a reduced fee this summer due to the fact he is closing in on the final twelve months of his contract.

There are, however, a large number of clubs keeping tabs on Belotti’s situation, with Chelsea and Everton having also been mentioned as potential suitors earlier this month.

Serie A teams such as AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli, Roma and Fiorentina are also considering making a move for the Italian international at the end of the season.

From Liverpool’s point of view, signing Belotti would signal a change in style for manager Jurgen Klopp, with the forward much more of a traditional number nine than someone like Roberto Firmino.
