Liverpool Named As One Of Four Clubs ‘In Talks’ To Sign 29M Rated German International

Liverpool remain “in talks” to sign Red Bull Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi, according to Sky Sports Germany.

Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be competing for the German international’s signature, with Dortmund still reportedly favourites to snap him up.

It is believed that all the parties involved: Salzburg, Dortmund and Adeyemi himself, want to get the deal done but Sky claim that the two teams are “clearly at odds” over clauses and bonus payments.

While a fee of €35m (29m) is thought to have been agreed, it appears that there is still a long way to go before the transfer is finalised.

A number of other Premier League teams, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City had been linked with Adeyemi over the past few months, along with Liverpool, but the forward’s desire to return to Germany has led to Dortmund becoming the frontrunner to secure his services.
