Liverpool, Napoli and AC Milan have all made enquiries about Eintracht Frankfurt attacking midfielder Jesper Lindstrom, according to Tipsbladet.

The Danish publication claims the three teams have yet to enter formal negotiations with Frankfurt but they are all keen on securing the player’s signature.

Lindstrom has been in excellent form so far this campaign, having scored eight goals and contributed two assists in 22 appearances.

His performances have also attracted the attention of other Premier League teams, including Arsenal and Manchester City, but it appears Liverpool are the club most likely to table an offer at this stage.

Frankfurt are not expected to demand a large fee for Lindstrom, with it being suggested he could be offloaded for €20m (£17.5m).

Whether the Reds actually need a player like the Danish international, though, it is up for debate. He is most comfortable playing as a no.10 or on the left wing; neither of which are positions that the Merseyside club are looking to reinforce.
