Liverpool Named As One Of Three Clubs Tracking Brazilian Hotshot

Liverpool, Manchester City and Crystal Palace are all interested in signing Tombense forward Evanilson, according to reports in the English media.

Palace are believed to be the team most interested in the 20-year-old, having made an enquiry about the Brazilian’s availability as they look for a replacement for Wilfried Zaha, but it is believed the player is keen on seeing out the rest of the Brazilian league season (which ends in December).

Evanilson is actually on loan with Fluminense at the moment. In what is quite a strange arrangement, the player left Fluminense on a free transfer for third division side Tombense only then to be loaned back to his previous club for the remainder of the season.

Not much else is known about Liverpool’s interest, other than they are monitoring the Brazilian, but City have been interested in the striker as part of their recruitment for their City Football Group network of clubs.
