Liverpool Named As One Of THREE PL Clubs Vying To Sign 13 Goal Striker Who Snubbed Chelsea Last Month

Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham are all interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram on a free transfer, according to AS.

The Madrid-based publication claims the Premier League trio (along with Atletico Madrid) are circling the France international whose contract expires at the end of the season.

Thuram was reportedly a target for Chelsea during the January transfer window but it is believed that the player was keen to remain with Gladbach until the summer so he has more time to consider his options.

The 25-year-old has been in great form this campaign, racking up 13 goals in 20 appearances, so it is not a surprise that so many teams are keeping tabs on him.

Liverpool can already hold direct talks with Thuram about signing a pre-contract agreement but it remains to be seen if they will firm up their interest. Roberto Firmino is said to be close to signing a new deal and, if the Brazilian remains at Anfield, it’s unlikely the Reds will pursue another forward.
