Harry Redknapp Predicts The Result As Liverpool Take On Chelsea

Former Tottenham and West Ham manager Harry Redknapp has backed Liverpool to come out on top when they face Chelsea this weekend.

Speaking to football betting site BetVictor, Redknapp said that he feels the Reds will have “too much quality” for their opponents, despite there being nothing riding on the game for them:

“The big game of the weekend, especially for Chelsea. They’ve picked up some vital wins in the last few weeks, even if the performances haven’t been great. They’ve got some massive games coming up though – the pressure is really on them.”

“This is a complete free hit for Liverpool, but I think they’ll want to remind everyone just why they’re Premier League champions. I know Arne Slot’s men have nothing to play for, but I just think they have too much quality at Stamford Bridge.”

What score has Redknapp predicted?

The ex-Spurs boss has gone with a 2-1 win to Liverpool, which is a scoreline that will certainly delight those who are travelling to see the game at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

As Redknapp points out, Slot’s side can treat it as a “free hit” so you would expect them to play with a lot of freedom.

Liverpool will have one player back from injury

Asked about the fitness of Conor Bradley in his pre-match press conference on Friday, Slot confirmed that the right-back would be “available” to face Chelsea.

It is not known whether the 21-year-old will be ready to start but he should, at the very least, make the matchday squad. With Trent Alexander-Arnold also fit, there is no need to rush him back into the team.

Bradley had to sit out the 5-1 win over Tottenham last weekend – the result that confirmed the Reds as Premier League champions.
