‘This Is A Solid 9/10’ ‘Looks So Good’ Liverpool Fans Deliver Verdict As Pictures Of New Adidas Kit Are Leaked

Images purporting to show the 25/26 home kit have leaked out online and Liverpool supporters are happy with the design.

It was announced earlier this week that the German company would return as the club’s kit manufacturer for the first time since 2012.

The new home shirt is reminiscent of past Adidas jerseys, and the majority of fans on X believe it is a solid effort:

Adidas have looked to 2004/05 for inspiration

There are definitely similarities to the shirt that Steven Gerrard wore when the Reds won their 5th Champions League in 2005, especially with the white piping around the sides.

The main difference is that the 2025/26 design will not have a collar, with Adidas deciding to go with a simple round neck.

When can Liverpool fans buy the 2025/26 home kit?

The Reds’ contract with Nike expires at the end of July, which means the new kit unveiling is expected at the beginning of August. That is a lot later than in previous years.

Usually, the team will wear the new shirt for the last game of the season but that won’t be happening this campaign. It seems the club will be wearing Nike all the way through pre-season too before Adidas finally take the reins.
