Liverpool winger Luis Diaz scored with a Roberto-Firmino-style no-look finish against Arsenal on Sunday evening.
The Colombian international sealed a 2-0 victory at the Emirates by hammering a shot into the top corner during the dying moments of the game.
It was noticed on replays after the match that Diaz turned his head away from the ball before unleashing his effort on target, prompting fans on X to comment:

Diaz’s form has improved in recent weeks
It’s fair to say that the 26-year-old has had an underwhelming season up until this point. 6 goals and 2 assists in 25 appearances isn’t exactly the return you would expect from a forward.
Diaz has understandably been distracted by off-the-pitch matters but he has struggled to find his best form for quite some time, leading to criticism from certain pundits and supporters.
However, against Newcastle last time out in the league and at the weekend versus Arsenal, there were promising signs that the winger is finally getting back to his best.
Liverpool rode their luck at the weekend
With manager Jurgen Klopp forced into changes with both Virgil van Dijk and Mo Salah absent, it wasn’t a complete surprise that the Reds found it difficult against the Gunners.
The home side could arguably have been out of sight in the first half, considering the number of chances they created. However, Klopp’s men hung in there before making inroads after the interval. Next up is the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final versus Fulham on Wednesday.
