Liverpool forward Mo Salah will reach 200 goals for the Reds if he scores against Fulham on Sunday afternoon.
The Egyptian international scored his 199th against LASK Linz in the 4-0 win earlier this week and he is now poised to reach a significant milestone.
Fans on X have been waxing lyrical about Salah’s achievements, with many mocking those who dismissed him as a one-season wonder after he first arrived at Anfield back in 2017:

Salah is already a club legend
The 31-year-old has scored more goals for Liverpool than the likes of Steven Gerrard, Robbie Fowler and Kenny Dalglish. If he left the Reds today, he would still be regarded as one of the greatest players in the club’s history.
Salah currently sits 5th on the all-time list, 29 goals behind Billy Liddell and 13 ahead of Gerrard. In terms of goals-per-game ratio, only Gordon Hodgson can better his 1.63 goals per 90.
Will Salah stay at Liverpool beyond the summer?
There are still questions about the Egyptian’s long-term future. The Reds did reject a £100m+ bid from Al-Ittihad back in September. However, Saudi Arabian clubs are expected to persist with their interest.
When Salah reaches the final 12 months of his contract next summer, a big decision will have to be made. Whatever happens, though, his performances for Liverpool will live long in the memory.
