Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Caoimhin Kelleher – 6/10 – didn’t really have much of a chance with either goal. His kicking was decent as he regularly tried to pick out Mo Salah.
RB – Trent Alexander-Arnold – 7/10 – struggled with Gabriel Martinelli but he played the all-important pass over Arsenal’s defence ahead of Liverpool’s second equaliser.
CB – Ibrahima Konate – 7/10 – commanding for the most part but he risked giving away a penalty in the first half after failing to clear his lines.
CB – Virgil van Dijk – 8/10 – scored with a smart low header from a corner after a neat flick-on from Luis Diaz.
LB – Andy Robertson – 4/10 – very poor for Arsenal’s opening goal as he failed to deal with Bukayo Saka. Kostas Tsimikas replaced him in the second half.
