Liverpool winger Rio Ngumoha scored the 3rd in the Reds’ 3-1 friendly win against Yokohama F. Marinos on Wednesday.
Head coach Arne Slot has started the 16-year-old in all three matches in pre-season so far and the youngster has grabbed his chance.
Supporters on X genuinely believe that Ngumoha will get opportunities to start for the Reds this campaign:
Ngumoha is an alien. That kid is going places.

Liverpool poached the teenager from another Premier League side
Although some have praised the academy for producing another talented player, it should be pointed out that Ngumoha has been on Merseyside for less than a year.
The Reds snapped up the forward from Chelsea last summer. Prior to that, he had spent the best part of eight years with the London club.
Can Ngumoha fill Diaz’s boots?
Based on his performances in pre-season, some fans have suggested that the club will not even need to replace Luis Diaz. The Colombian completed his £65.5m move to Bayern Munich on Tuesday, leaving Cody Gakpo as the main option on the left flank.
With Federico Chiesa also expected to be sold before the end of the transfer window, it could leave Ngumoha as Gakpo’s understudy.
A move for another winger may be made over the next few weeks, but Slot could potentially place his trust in the youngster instead.
