New Liverpool signing Ryan Gravenberch got his first minutes in a Red shirt against Wolves at the weekend.
The £34m recruit from Bayern Munich came on for the final few minutes at Molineux as the Reds secured their fourth league win in five games.
With the club’s first Europa League group game against LASK Linz coming up on Thursday evening, fans on X agree that Gravenberch should be handed his full debut by manager Jurgen Klopp:
Yep, he needs these minutes to get used to our style of play and pressing. It's a good way to integrate him gradually.

Yes I would. Little risk of losing, good signal to him that we want him to play, good way of having him contribute quality minutes and get match fit. Win-win.

Gravenberch is keen to start games
One of the key reasons the Netherlands international left Bayern was because he was not starting enough matches for the Bundesliga champions.
Over the course of Gravenberch’s time at the Allianz Arena, he was named in the first eleven on just six occasions in total. It should also be remembered that the midfielder turned down a call-up by his country ensure he could train with his new club straight away. You do feel that dedication deserves some reward by being named in the team to face LASK.
Liverpool could deploy Gravenberch in a number of positions
There has been some talk that the Dutchman could be deployed as a no.6. If Klopp wants to experiment with Gravenberch in that role, the Europa League would probably be the best place to do that.
With Wataru Endo also needing game time, though, it’s still likelier that Gravenberch will be selected in one of the two no.8 roles on Thursday.
