Liverpool have had a fantastic start to the 2023/24 season as they sit on top of the Premier League after seven matches under new boss Arne Slot. 

The Reds have won six of their seven league games with just one loss which came against Nottingham Forest at Anfield in mid-September after a goal from Callum Hudson-Odoi gave the away side a 1-0 win.

Liverpool head into the international break off the back of a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park where Diogo Jota scored after just nine minutes.

It wasn’t all good news however, as star goalkeeper Alisson had to be taken off with an injury which could keep him sidelined until at least mid-November meaning he could miss a significant chunk of games.

This is a major blow for Arne Slot as Liverpool has some tough games coming up after what has been a relatively easy start to the Premier League season.
