Liverpool Player Ratings Vs Arsenal: Two Players Get 8/10 But Another Gets A 4

Liverpool let a two-goal lead slip against Arsenal on Sunday evening. The Reds started the game on the front foot but they could not sustain that energy throughout the 90 minutes.

Cody Gakpo headed in the opener after a superb cross from Andy Robertson before Luis Diaz made it 2-0 after a great run and pass from Dominik Szoboszlai.

However, Arne Slot’s side lost their way after the break. A goal early in the second half from Gabriel Martinelli set the tone.

Mikel Merino then bagged the equaliser on the rebound following a long-range effort from Martin Odegaard. Merino was sent off with ten minutes remaining but the home side could not find the winner.
