Liverpool are considering a bid for Bordeaux winger Francois Kamano, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Reds are believed to be very interested in the 23-year-old, who is said to be valued at €15m (£13.7m) by his club.
Kamano is Naby Keita’s teammate at international level, having played for Guinea in the African Cup of Nations earlier this month.
He scored in the 2-2 draw against Madagascar in the first group match but was only a substitute during the 3-0 defeat to Algeria in the round of 16.
Kamano performed well for Bordeaux in Ligue One last campaign, scoring ten goals and contributing one assist in 37 league games.
He mostly plays from the left-hand side, cutting in onto his stronger right foot, but he has been employed through the middle and on the right flank as well.
The Guinean is likely being eyed as an understudy for Sadio Mane, who will only return to pre-season training after the Community Shield final this weekend following his exploits with Senegal.
