Midfield
CM – Ryan Gravenberch – the Dutchman helped provide some protection against the Magpies and his presence will definitely be required versus the Reds’ next opponents.
CM – Alexis Mac Allister – like Bradley, the midfielder has been training so he may get the nod ahead of Curtis Jones.
AM – Florian Wirtz – the 22-year-old is struggling to cope with the pace of the Premier League at the moment, which is understandable, but Dominik Szoboszlai could come on as an early sub if Wirtz finds life tough against the Gunners.
Forwards
RW – Mo Salah – the forward is missing Trent Alexander-Arnold. He doesn’t get the ball as often as he would like. Even so, he has a goal and an assist from his first 2 league fixtures.
ST – Hugo Ekitike – the Frenchman is definitely still a work in progress but his finishing so far has been outstanding.
LW – Cody Gakpo – the winger has been short of match fitness in the opening weeks of the season, but he is gradually getting up to speed.
