GK – Alisson – the Brazilian is back in training, so he could replace Giorgi Mamardashvili in goal.
RB – Joe Gomez – with Conor Bradley having joined Jeremie Frimpong on the treatment table, the 28-year-old will have to fill in.
CB – Ibrahima Konate – the centre-back’s form this season has been nightmareish, but there is no sign that Slot is prepared to bench him for Joe Gomez.
CB – Virgil van Dijk – the captain has fallen well below the standard he sets for himself, and an authoritative display at the back is required.
LB – Andy Robertson – Milos Kerkez may have to wait a little while longer to get another starting opportunity.
