Liverpool Reportedly Eyeing Move For Cameroon Wonderkid

Liverpool are interested in signing Real Mallorca forward Victor de Baunbag, according to Sport.

The Catalan publication reports that the Reds have already contacted the 18-year-old’s representatives to register their interest in the player.

De Baunbag has yet to make his senior debut, although he has been part of the Mallorca’s B Team setup since the start of July.

He has been the club’s top goalscorer at Under 19 level for the past two seasons and has again featured for the academy this campaign despite his promotion to the reserve team squad.

The striker was born in Madrid but his parents are from Cameroon. He has a physical presence at 6ft 3in tall, and his flexibility to play across the frontline make him perfect for the Premier League.

However, Mallorca are said to be keen to keep hold of de Baunbag. They recognise his excellent finishing ability and could even give him his first-team debut before the end of the season.
