Liverpool Scouts Keeping A Close Eye On Dutch Star Who Schooled United Last Night

Liverpool deployed scouts to see Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma play against Manchester United in the Champions League yesterday evening, according to reports in England.

The Netherlands international was named man of the match for his performance, despite Villarreal losing 2-1 at Old Trafford.

Danjuma created the opening goal for teammate Paco Alcacer and was a constant menace throughout the match as he dominated United full-back Diogo Dalot.

The Reds would have undoubtedly been impressed by what they saw of the 24-year-old, and it looks as though they could make a move for the player in the future.

It has been claimed that Danjuma was being looked at even before he made the £21m switch from Bournemouth to Villarreal in the summer, and his displays since arriving in Spain have continued to be impressive.

In his seven matches for the Yellow Submarine so far, the Dutchman has scored two goals and provided one assist.
