Liverpool Show ‘Firm Interest’ In Signing £100m Rated Winger

Liverpool are considering a move for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, according to the Daily Mail. The newspaper claims that the Reds have shown a “firm interest” in the England international.

There are a number of clubs after the 18-year-old with Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Barcelona all tracking the former Manchester City player.

Sancho is believed to be open to leaving Dortmund following a series of run-ins with manager Lucien Favre. He was suspended for one match after returning late from international duty back in October, but after accepting his punishment, he was then subbed off after just 36 minutes in the 4-0 defeat to Bayern Munich last weekend.

The decision to take him off has seemingly not gone down well, and he could well be on his way next summer if Dortmund receive an appropriate bid. A fee of around £100m has been mooted but much may depend on the player’s form and how many clubs are competing for the player’s signature.
