Liverpool Star Makes Emphatic Statement About His Future

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane says he has no reason to leave the Reds, stating he is the happiest he has ever been in his career as a footballer.

The 27-year-old is currently taking a well-deserved break with Senegal not in action during the current international break, and when asked about his future, Mane could not be more clear about his intentions:

“To be honest, I’m really happy to be a part of the club, the family here. We have the best fans in the world here, so I’m always so thankful for the support.”

“It’s not just great for me too – it gives the whole squad more motivation to perform. It keeps us hungry to get better and better together… I really struggle to describe how happy I am to be here!”

There had been some questions raised following Mane’s outburst after being substituted against Burnley last week. He was not happy with Mo Salah after the Egyptian failed to pass the ball to him, but it seems the issue is now firmly in the past.

The Senegalese international has been in outstanding form this year, and he has been named on the shortlist for FIFPro’s World XI. Considering his exploits for both club and country in 2019, he would be well deserving of any individual accolades that will come his way.
