Liverpool Step Up Chase For £30m Rated England Under 21 International

Liverpool are leading the race for Norwich City attacking midfielder Todd Cantwell, according to reports in the English media.

The 21-year-old has impressed in both games against the Reds this season, and they are said to be weighing up a bid in the summer transfer window.

Norwich are, though, set to demand as much as £30m for Cantwell, with the England Under 21 international having scored six goals and contributed two assists in 26 appearances for the Canaries since their promotion to the top flight.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will face a number of other clubs in the battle to sign the midfielder, with the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham also keeping a close eye on the Norwich star’s progress.

Cantwell generally plays off the left-hand side, cutting in onto his stronger right foot, although he has also been utilised as a no.10 and a right-winger by manager Daniel Farke on occasions this campaign.
