Liverpool target wants Real Madrid move

AS Roma keeper Alisson will snub a move to Anfield to help force through a switch to Real Madrid, according to reports.

The Brazilian has emerged as one of Liverpool’s top targets in recent months, with manager Jurgen Klopp looking to find a new number one in place of the unconvincing Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet.

The Reds were understood to be preparing a world record £60 million for Alisson ahead of the world cup, however those plans are now understood to have changed amidst reports the 25-year-old will turn down any such approach from Liverpool.

Alisson will instead await for Real Madrid to come sniffing with the Bernabeu being his preferred destination.

Spanish outlet Marca report that Alisson could finally complete his dream move to Madrid following the departure of manager Zinedine Zidane, who was insistent on keeping Keylor Navas as his number one.

However after the Frenchman’s departure, the boardroom at the Bernabeu will now look to Alisson as their next ‘galatico’ signing and has the long-term heir to Iker Casillas throne.

Any move from either Madrid or Liverpool will now likely be after the world cup, which starts in less than two weeks time.

Brazil take on Switzerland in their opening game on the tournament on Sunday 17th June.
