Liverpool are weighing up a potential move for Borussia Dortmund forward Youssoufa Moukoko, according to reports in the English media.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be a big fan of the German Under 21 international, who has impressed since breaking into Dortmund’s first team a couple of years ago.

Moukoko actually broke the record for the youngest player to play in the Bundesliga when he made his senior debut against Hertha Berlin in 2020, and he has gradually established himself as a regular at the German club.

However, the 17-year-old has not put pen to paper on a contract extension and, with his current deal set to expire in June, he could be available for a bargain price.

Moukoko does, though, have plenty of other suitors. In addition to Liverpool and other Premier League teams, the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping an eye on his situation.
