Liverpool Tracking Championship Wonderkid Ahead Of Summer Bid

Liverpool are interested in Leeds attacking midfielder Jack Clarke, according to reports in England.

The Reds are believed to have sent scouts to track the teenager’s progress with manager Jurgen Klopp said to have been impressed by the reports he has received about the player.

Clarke made his senior debut against Brentford back in October and has already racked up 17 first-team appearances, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

Liverpool are said to be weighing up a summer offer for the youngster but they will likely face stiff competition to secure the midfielder’s signature.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have all been linked with Clarke since the 18-year-old broke into the Leeds’ first team earlier this season.

He generally plays as a left winger, cutting in on to his strong right foot. However, Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa has more often than not used him on the right-hand side.
