‘Salah Replacement Sorted Then’ ‘He’s Fire’ Fans React As Liverpool Make Contact With Eredivisie Star’s Agent

Liverpool have been in touch with the representative of Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj Moussa, according to reports.

The Algerian international has had a decent season in the Eredivisie and Africafoot claims that chief scout Barry Hunter has made contact with the player’s agent Mohamed Dahmane.

They report that Moussa is more likely to make the move to Anfield at the end of the season, although fans on X are split on whether he would be a good signing, with some sarcastically suggesting he is Mo Salah‘s replacement:

What do Liverpool fans need to know about the player?

Moussa is a left-footed right-winger so you can see why the Reds would be interested in him. However, he has yet to really make his mark in professional football, despite playing for 5 different clubs.

After coming through the ranks of Lens, he has had spells with Olympic Charleroi, Patro Eisden and Vitesse Arnhem (on loan) before being snapped by Feyenoord in July last year.

So far this season, Moussa has scored 6 goals and provided 2 assists in 23 appearances; it’s hardly a record that suggests he’s ready for the Premier League.

What is the current situation with Salah?

The Egyptian international is still no closer to signing a contract extension with the Reds, and there are rumours that Saudi Pro League clubs are lining up lucrative contract offers ahead of the summer.

Salah continues to suggest that he would like to remain at Anfield but there has been no sign of a breakthrough in talks over a new deal.
