Liverpool would consider an offer in the region of £60m for winger Cody Gakpo, according to reports.
The BBC claim “there is a possibility” that the Netherlands international could leave Anfield before the end of the summer transfer window.
Supporters on X believe that, like last summer when Luis Diaz was sold to Bayern Munich, Gakpo will go if a team matches the asking price:

A Premier League rival wants Gakpo
The 27-year-old’s form last season came in from heavy criticism from fans, and it seems there is an openness to letting him go under the right circumstances.
The BBC have confirmed that Tottenham are keeping tabs on Gakpo’s situation. Spurs were looking to recruit Savinho from Manchester City, but they could change targets.

Liverpool have to weigh up several factors before selling up
The arrival of Victor Munoz means Gakpo is really not needed on the left flank, especially if (as expected) Rio Ngumoha gets more first-team minutes next season.
However, Gakpo can also provide a much-needed option through the middle. Hugo Ekitike is unlikely to return from a serious Achilles injury until well into next year.
It means that manager Andoni Iraola will have to rely on Alexander Isak to play every few days, which doesn’t seem realistic based on his fitness during his first year at Anfield.
In that context, an argument can be made for keeping Gakpo, who can help provide cover in multiple positions. It is definitely not an easy decision for the club to make.
