Brighton have begun “talks” to sign Liverpool target Crysencio Summerville from Leeds, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Writing on X, the Italian reporter said the Dutchman is also being “monitored” by the Reds and Chelsea, so it remains to be seen where the player will end up.
The majority of supporters are hoping that Brighton do win the race for Summerville as they don’t think he is good enough for Liverpool:

Summerville had an outstanding season in the Championship
It’s not a surprise that Premier League teams have taken a keen interest in the 22-year-old. He scored 21 goals and contributed 10 assists in 49 appearances for Leeds last season.
That is an excellent return but there are question marks over whether Summerville would be able to replicate those performances in the Premier League.
When Leeds were last in the top flight, the winger scored just 4 times in 28 games, but he has matured since then.
Are Liverpool looking at other wide players?
It was reported on Monday that the Reds had an enquiry knocked back for Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia but the club are not expected to continue their pursuit of the Georgian international.
Other players, such as Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, PSV Eindhoven’s Johan Bakyaoko and Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise have also been mentioned as potential targets in recent weeks.
