‘£250M And I’d Honestly Say Yes’ ‘Not Happening’ Fans Discuss Reports Linking Liverpool Superstar With Summer Exit

Mo Salah

Liverpool forward Mo Salah is being targeted by Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Hilal, according to reports.

A number of high-profile players have opted to make the switch to the Middle East with the state’s Public Investment Fund now financing some of its biggest clubs.

Fans on Twitter have been debating whether Salah would be interested in a transfer, as well as asking whether the Reds should let him go:

Al-Hilal could certainly make Salah a tempting offer

Reports suggest that Chelsea‘s N’Golo Kante will earn an astonishing €100m (£86m) a year if he finalises his move to Al-Ittihad this summer and Salah would probably be able to earn a similar figure.

Combined with sponsorships and other earnings, the winger could stand to rake in an eyewatering amount from any transfer to Saudi Arabia.

Salah has a legacy at Liverpool

Even if the Egyptian left Anfield tomorrow, he would go down as a club legend but you do feel that, at 30 years of age, he still has a few more seasons left in him at the top level.

Salah is a man who focuses on club records and you would think that he will be focused on setting more milestones at Liverpool before he decides to call it a day.

That would probably be the deciding factor for the player, considering his ultra-competitive attitude. A move to the Middle East may be something he considers when his contract expires in 2025 but not now.
