Liverpool transfer target Goncalo Inacio could be sold by Sporting Lisbon if a club is willing to pay €45m (£39m) up front, according to AS (via Paisley Gates).
The Portuguese international has a €60m (£52m) release clause but Sporting are prepared to let him leave for €45m, as long as another €15m (£13m) is paid in add-ons.
Unsurprisingly, considering Inacio’s reputation as a very promising young centre-back, supporters on X are urging the Reds to make a move for the player:

Inacio looks to be the perfect successor for van Dijk
Liverpool’s scouts have been actively looking for a left-sided centre-half for quite some time, as they seek out someone who could succeed Virgil van Dijk in the long term.
As he is left-footed and still only 22 years of age, Inacio does appear to be an ideal fit. If he is available for an initial €45m, you would think it is a deal worth pursuing.
Liverpool will face competition for the defender
Real Madrid are known to be keen admirers of Inacio and, following the injury suffered by David Alaba, it could lead them to making an offer for the Sporting defender in January.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle are said to be among the Premier League clubs who are also keeping tabs on Inacio.
