Liverpool are “pushing” to sign Lille centre-back Leny Yoro, according to Sky Sport Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio.
The journalist, who has a patchy record when it comes to reliability, claims that the Reds are keen to beat Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Manchester United to the 18-year-old’s signature:
Also @LFC pushing for @losclive‘s defender Leny #Yoro. @PSG_inside, @ManUtd and @realmadrid are interested too

Fans on X are excited about the prospect of Yoro moving to Anfield but some are sceptical about the accuracy of Di Marzio’s reporting:
I hope we sign him

Other sources are also claiming Liverpool are pursuing Yoro
Di Marzio is not the only journalist who has reported the Reds’ interest in the teenager. RMC Sport correspondent Fabrice Hawkins also believes that the Merseysiders are in the mix.
Of course, with so many teams keen on securing Yoro’s services, there is still no guarantee that the Frenchman will end up at Liverpool.
Lille are under pressure to sell the defender
Yoro only has a year left on his contract and there has been no indication that the centre-half is willing to extend his current deal. It leaves Lille in a bit of a predicament.
Back in January, it was reported that the Ligue One side had slapped a €90m (£77m) price tag on Yoro. However, with the club now fearing that he could leave for nothing next year, they are now willing to do a deal for €60m (£51m).
