Liverpool are “closely monitoring the situation” of Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush, according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.
The Egyptian international has been in excellent form at the start of this season, scoring 9 goals and contributing 6 assists.
Supporters on X are keen for the Reds to secure Marmoush’s signature, with some believing he could be an ideal replacement for Mo Salah:

Marmoush is on the radar of several Premier League clubs
Nottingham Forest reportedly had a β¬30m (Β£25m) offer rejected for the 25-year-old last summer, while he is said to have also turned down Fulham.
Another journalist, Bild’s Christian Falk, has suggested that Marmoush “dreams” of moving to a team like Liverpool or Arsenal, so that should help Arne Slot’s side’s chances of landing him.
What is the situation with Salah’s Liverpool contract?
It is believed that Marmoush and Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi are on a list of options being considered if Liverpool’s No.11 leaves at the end of the season.
Salah’s current deal expires in June and he is reportedly keen to remain at Anfield. However, there has been no breakthrough in talks over an extension and there is a chance that he will be let go on a free transfer.
