Liverpool have continued to keep tabs on Wolves winger Pedro Neto, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Writing in his Daily Briefing column, Romano said that the Reds are one of the clubs who are interested in the Portuguese international:
“I would also keep a close eye on Liverpool – let’s see who’s going to be their manager, let’s see who’s going to be their director and what kind of strategy they will have. But Pedro Neto has also been scouted by Liverpool in recent months and years.”
Fans on X are not that keen on recruiting Neto, with many worried about his injury record:
Too injury injury prone we can’t have another Thiago and Keita situations

How can Liverpool be pursuing a player without a sporting director?
It should be pointed out that Head of Recruitment Dave Fallows and Chief Scout Barry Hunter are expected to remain despite the exit of sporting director Jorg Schmadtke and the impending departure of Jurgen Klopp.
Whoever is hired, Fallows and Hunter will continue to watch players, with Neto seemingly being one of them.
There are rivals pursuing Neto
Another respected journalist David Ornstein has said that Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle and (potentially) Manchester United are also interested in the 23-year-old.
Wolves are, however, expected to demand as much as £80m for Neto due to the player being in such high demand. As some supporters have mentioned, teams (including Liverpool) may be hesitant to make a bid due to his poor fitness record. He has spent long spells on the sidelines over the last few years with knee, ankle and hamstring injuries.
