It will take some time before Rio Ngumoha’s move from Chelsea to Liverpool is officially announced, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The journalist confirmed in early July that the 15-year-old would be joining the Reds’ academy but he says the Premier League registration process for young players “could take up to 4 weeks”:

The signing of Ngumoha is seen as a massive coup by the Merseysiders, with the forward regarded as one of the most promising players in his age group.
What should fans know about Ngumoha?
The teenager is a right-footed winger, who prefers to play off the left flank so he can cut in onto his stronger side. However, he has also been deployed on the right and through the middle as a no.10 at youth level.
Ngumoha has been called up by England’s Under 15s and Under 16s. His potential means he could be involved at next year’s European Under 17 Championships if the Three Lions qualify.
For Chelsea, he had already broken into the Under 18 team, having made 9 appearances last season, so it’s expected he will play at the same level when he does complete his switch to Anfield.
Liverpool have still not made a signing for the first-team
While fans will be delighted by the capture of Ngumoha, they are becoming increasingly impatient about the lack of signings for the senior side.
Heading into the summer, it was reported that Liverpool wanted a centre-back, a holding midfielder and a wide forward, but no new additions have arrived so far.
