Liverpool are weighing up whether to sign Bayern Munich forward Serge Gnabry on a free transfer at the end of the season, according to reports in the German media.
Bild claim that the Reds and Juventus have added the former Arsenal player to their shortlist ahead of the summer.
Gnabry is now 30 years of age, and he also has a history of injury problems. Fans on X don’t believe he would be a good addition to the squad:
I hope this is a wind up.

You can't let Diaz go and be chasing gnabry, would be the most foolish decision by any European top club in the last decade.

Gnabry’s wage demands are a big obstacle
One of the main reasons why the German international could leave Bayern on a free is due to his salary expectations.
Gnabry currently earns between €17m and €19m a year, which works out at around £288,000 a week to £322,500 a week. You can’t see Liverpool paying the player anything close to those figures.
Unless he lowers his demands, it seems very unlikely that the winger will be wearing a Red shirt next season.
