Liverpool is currently pursuing Real Sociedad winger Takefusa Kubo and according to reports they are prepared to pay his £54.8 million release clause.
According to reports, the Reds are close to signing the winger they are talking with over a potential contract. Japanese news outlet Sponichi reports that Liverpool has offered Kubo £243k weekly.
Kubo played 30 games for Real Sociedad last season and scored seven goals. The 23-year-old primarily plays on the right wing and would seem to be a long-term replacement for Mo Salah.

Worrying stats. He just turned 23 though so he could ofcourse become more lethal in front of goal. People are saying he is similar to Elliott, if thats the case we shouldn’t go for him.

Hahaha, when Salah was at Chelsea, people said he was a flop, even until today, these people still can’t agree that he was Phenomenon for @LFC . Kubo might be the Salah 2.0

I don’t have a good feeling about it. I think Kudus is a better option, especially since he has PL experience

Liverpool in the market for a winger
The Reds have been chasing a winger since the start of the transfer window and have been connected with several top names.
Anthony Gordon was a serious target for Arne Slot, but Newcastle rejected Liverpool’s bid and are keen on holding onto Gordon this summer.
The Newcastle winger was also a target of Manchester United but nothing materialised regarding a deal either.
Mohammed Kudus seems to be a popular name amongst Liverpool fans, he had originally been identified as an alternative should the Reds miss out on Gordon.
