Liverpool transfer target Alexis Mac Allister has posted a photo on Instagram amongst the rest of the Argentina international squad – which includes Manchester United’s Lisandro Martinez.
Both Mac Allister and Martinez played a key role in Argentina’s World Cup campaign – it’s no surprise to see them both retain their respective places in La Albiceleste’s squad.
For the post’s caption, Mac Allister simply wrote a trio of star emojis, to represent Argentina’s third-ever World Cup victory in 2022.
Currently, Mac Allister’s post has just under 350,000 likes on Instagram. Among those who have liked the post include Leandro Trossard, Marc Cucurella and Manchester City’s Julian Alvarez.
The post shows the Argentina squad celebrating in what appears to be some sort of nightclub. Several of Argentina’s biggest names are present in the photo, including Angel Di Maria, Lionel Messi and Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez.
The former Brighton man is highly coveted by a number of reputable clubs across the globe. Apart from Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona are all thought to be interested in acquiring the 24-year-old’s services.
He would be a fantastic addition to the Liverpool squad. Mac Allister is slowly turning into one of the best box-to-box midfielders in the Premier League. The Reds currently lack energy in the middle of the park – the Argentinian magician could be the answer to this problem.
