Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that captain Jordan Henderson won’t be fit to face Arsenal on Monday night. The midfielder picked up a thigh injury and had to be taken off at half-time in the 2-0 win over Chelsea last weekend.

Joe Gomez is back in contention, though, with the centre-back having returned to training today following a knee problem. Joel Matip (hamstring) and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (knee) both remain on the sidelines.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta could have Kieran Tierney (hip) and Sokratis (thigh) back in action for the game at Anfield. However, the Gunners are still without five other players.

Shkodran Mustafi (hamstring), Pablo Mari (ankle), Emile Smith Rowe (shoulder), Gabriel Martinelli and Calum Chambers (both knee) will not be available.

At the bookies, Liverpool are firm favourites with Unibet pricing them at 1/2 for the win. A draw is 19/5 with 888 Sport while an Arsenal victory is currently 11/2 at William Hill.
