Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will want a reaction from his players after an abject display against Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday evening.

The 2-0 defeat in Serbia has raised concerns about the team’s form despite the Reds still being unbeaten in the league. However, they probably couldn’t pick better opponents to face at home on Sunday.

Fulham have lost their last five Premier League games, conceding 16 goals in the process. The Cottagers are, no doubt, lacking in confidence but Liverpool must be careful of treating the game too lightly like they did against Red Star.

Captain Jordan Henderson is expected to be back for the game after missing the last four matches with a hamstring injury. Dejan Lovren could also be recalled after sitting out the game midweek due to illness. Nathaniel Clyne could be available after also feeling unwell.

The Reds do have a couple of new injury concerns, Trent Alexander-Arnold had to be taken off at half-time on Tuesday due to an unspecified injury. Joe Gomez also picked up an Achilles issue but is expected to be fit for the match versus Fulham.

Slavisa Jokanovic’s side will be without left-back Joe Bryan for the match. The defender is recovering from an Achilles injury and won’t return until after the international break.
