Liverpool V Watford Match Preview And Predicted XI Plus Betting Odds

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is the only injury doubt for the Reds heading into the match against Watford tomorrow afternoon.

The 28-year-old has a tight hamstring and was not risked by Gareth Southgate in England’s Nations League win over Croatia on Sunday.  Manager Jurgen Klopp has one long-term absentee in Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who’s still recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Naby Keita, who has been suffering from a thigh problem in recent weeks, played the full 90 minutes for Guinea against Ivory Coast on Sunday and should be ready to start at Vicarage Road.

Watford have a few more injury concerns. Will Hughes picked up a calf strain before the international break and had to be substituted before half-time in the 1-1 draw against Southampton. It’s not known whether’s he’ll recover in time for tomorrow’s game.

Tom Cleverley (Achilles) and Sebastian Prodl (hamstring) remain on the treatment table but Daryl Janmaat could return to the matchday squad after missing the last two months with a knee injury. Etienne Capoue will also be available again after serving a one-match suspension.

At the bookmakers, Liverpool are odds-on favourites with the best priced being 1/2 at Ladbrokes. A draw is 7/2 at BetVictor while a Watford win is 28/5 at Unibet.
