Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Alisson – Alisson has to be one of the first names on Liverpool’s team sheet although he has only kept a clean sheet in one of their last four matches.
LB – Kostas Tsimikas – Andy Robertson had to come off against Wolves due to an injury, he could be ready in time for Wednesday’s game, but Tsimikas will likely take his place.
CB – Virgil Van Dijk – The Dutchman scored Liverpool’s second goal in the opening Champions League game, he will hope for more of the same against Bologna.
CB – Ibrahima Konate – Konate scored the Reds’ opener against Wolves over the weekend, but also made a mistake that led to the opposition scoring, he hopes for a quieter game against Bologna.
RB – Trent Alexander-Arnold – The England international was arguably Liverpool’s best player on Saturday as he put in some beautiful crosses into the Wolves box.
