Liverpool will be looking to bounce back this weekend as they host a Bournemouth side that has only lost once this season. 

The Reds come off the back of a 1-0 loss against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League at Anfield which handed Arne Slot his first defeat as Liverpool boss. Despite having 70% of the possession, the Reds could not score and dropped points, a disappointing result.

However, they did bounce back against AC Milan in the Champions League with a 3-1 win at the San Siro Stadium.

Anfield will play host for the second time in two weeks as they play Bournemouth who lost 1-0 to Chelsea in their last game in what was a decent performance from the Cherries.

Federico Chiesa is fit and could be in line to make his Premier League debut this weekend after joining from Juventus for £12.5m. Furthermore, Arne Slot has a fully fit squad apart from midfielder Harvey Elliot who is sidelined until late October at the earliest.

Unsurprisingly, the Reds are huge favourites against Bournemouth as they have a superior squad and a home advantage.

According to Oddschecker, Arne Slot’s team have around a 76% chance of victory as they are backed at 3/10 odds, with a Bournemouth win backed at 10/1 and a draw at 53/10.

We predict a big bounceback from the Reds with a 3-1 win over the Cherries on Saturday.
