Liverpool have started the Premier League season with two wins from two in the Arne Slot era after a 2-0 win over Brentford on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds scored twice at Anfield with goals from Luis Diaz and Mo Salah securing the three points putting Liverpool fourth in the Premier League after two games.
Arne Slot told the BBC after the game: “Two good wins against difficult opponents because Brentford had a very good opening game last week, but there is still a lot for us to prove this season.
“It was a good start. But to get a great start like this you have to work really hard and that’s what the boys did.”
The Liverpool fans will have a lot to be optimistic about after two games under Arne Slot with a possible title challenge in line at Anfield this season.
