Liverpool will be hoping they can bolster their chances of playing Champions League football next season with a win over Fulham on Wednesday, May 3, with a kickoff time of 8pm.

Liverpool will be without the services of Thiago Alcantara, Calvin Ramsay, Stefan Bajcetic and Roberto Firmino for the game against the Cottagers. Additionally, both Naby Keita and Diogo Jota are major doubts – both are likely to miss out.

Fulham gave the Citizens a scare in the first half, when they pulled level thanks to Carlos Vinicius – nevertheless, a strike from Julian Alvarez soon after this ensured that City would be returning to Manchester with all three points.

When the two teams last met, all the way back on the first day of the current season, the two teams shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw. Aleksandar Mitrovic opened the scoring, as Darwin Nunez found an equaliser in the second half. The Serbian scored again to put Fulham 2-1 up, but the Reds managed to rescue a point thanks to a goal from Mohamed Salah.
